Q and U Wedding

We are gathered this day in front of Teachers and Kindergarten 

students to celebrate the union and marriage of Mr. Q to Miss U.  

Mr. Q  - do you promise to take Miss U to be your friend for all your alphabetical life?  

Do you promise never to leave her out of a word?

Miss U - Do you promise to take Mr. Q to be your friend for all of your alphabetical life?

Do you promise to follow him in any word that begins with the letter Q?

By the power given to me, by Mr. Taylor, I pronounce you, Mr. Q and you, Miss U- husband and wife, friends for life.  You shall remain joined together in the alphabet for as long as letters are needed for spelling words.  You will help each other in spelling great words to be written in good books for student to read.  Congratulations!

Valentine's Day was just LOVEly in Kindergarten this year!

We had fun valentine centers, decorated cookies, and opened

lots of love notes from our friends.  You can tell by all the

happy faces that kindergarten kids really love their friends.

(PS to parents - Thanks for helping your child make such

awesome boxes to hold the cards - very creative holders came to

school this year!) 

Grandparents Are Great!

Mrs. Topham was so excited for grandparents day

at Three Peaks Elem. She was able to attend

Mrs. Barney's class where her granddaughter is a student.

From early in the morning, until I go to sleep each day.

I know my grandparents love me, in a very special way.

Sometimes it's milk and cookies,

Sometimes a walk in the park.

Sometimes it's just a hug, when

I 'm scared and in the dark.

I love to hear their stories about the past and where they are from.
And I know their hearts are filled for me, with never ending love!
