Winter Fun!

We had a great time collecting milk jugs to
create an awesome igloo!

Over 200 milk jugs were used to create the igloo.

Now we can have fun reading, playing
and putting puzzles together with our
friends in our igloo!

Jan Brett Stories

As part of our study of the author Jan Brett, we read
a kindergarten favorite "The Mitten".

A mitten is left in the snow by a little boy and
cold animals squeeze in one by one until. . .

The mitten bulges to many times its original size and when the
small meadow mouse makes the bear sneeze, well all the animals
are left out in the cold once more!

Help us please, so we won't freeze. . .

The Polar Express

"Well are you coming?"
"Where?" I asked.
"Why, to the North Pole of course!"

We took a pretend ride on "The Polar Express" and made
our way to the top of the world where every Christmas toy is made.

Make sure you have your train ticket!
Hop on board for a magical trip on "The Polar Express."

We watched the movie "The Polar Express", ate cookies and
drank chocolate milk! Wearing our pajamas was lots of fun, too!
Happy Holidays Everyone!

IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!

During the month of November we learned about the

Native Americans and Pilgrims. We decided we would take
a trip like the pilgrims and see other countries.

We made a visit to the "Land Down Under" - Australia

Tasted terrific food from other countries!

Visited Germany and South America with
our friends from SUU!

Traveling the World Kindergarten Style

Made a stop in Japan and. . .

live there help us to realize we have a wonderful world!
