E-I-E-I-O

Going to the SUU farm is simply the best field trip of the year! We plan, create, learn, build and play "FARM" for weeks leading up to this awesome activity! The big day arrives and the lambs are very hungry.
Who will help feed the lambs?
WE WILL!

The tractor was BIG!
The farmer has to do lots of hard work.

Seeing the bulls and cows up close and personal was. . .
smelly!

Everyone was given the chance to "milk" the kindergarten cow.
Some of the students said they could hear her mooing.

Dental Health Month

Teeth are one of the most important parts of your body.
They give your face shape. They help you talk.
They help you bite and chew food.

First, you have 20 baby teeth. by the time you are six
or so, these teeth start to loosen up and fall out!

Your 32 adult teeth push them out
and grow in their place!

Brush your teeth and floss them too,
For healthy, happy teeth!

Happy Healthy Teeth!

Staff from Pediatric Dentistry came to Kindergarten to
teach the students to brush, floss and shine teeth!

Dressing as a Dentist helps students know what to expect at the office.

We are bright teeth! Who will floss us?
Students in the class were chosen to represent the teeth
in a mouth, then other students helped demonstrate how to floss.

See-saw down and then scrape up. Way to go!

Going to the Dentist can be fun.

Let the Building Begin!

Building an igloo takes lots of time, energy and MILK JUGS!

Thanks for drinking lots of milk at home and sending jugs to school. . .
Our igloo is very cool!

Winter Fun!

We had a great time collecting milk jugs to
create an awesome igloo!

Over 200 milk jugs were used to create the igloo.

Now we can have fun reading, playing
and putting puzzles together with our
friends in our igloo!
