Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!

We love to read and we love books!
It's amazing what you see,
when you take the time to LOOK!

Dr. Seuss books make us smile!

It's the "Cat in the Hat"!
We enjoyed a special Dr. Seuss Assembly
and met the "Cat"! He was so awesome!
Horton and JoJo were there, too!

What a wonderful day!
Let's do it again!

Dr. Seuss Day!

Reading with friends is so much fun.
We got to read here and there.
Under the tables was the best!

Look, twin books!
We would, we could read it twice.
Reading at school is quite nice!

The menu for the day -
eggs (green)
ham (green)
muffin (blueberry)

YUMMY!
We brought our favorite snugglies to school to read with.
The variety was amazing and the sharing was great!

GREEN EGGS and HAM!

Dr. Seuss Day at Three Peaks Elementary is
one of the best days of the year!
This is a quote from Mrs. Topham - she absolutely loves
Dr. Seuss Day!

1st - Making Green Eggs and Ham for the students.
You should she the looks on their faces when I mention the
word green in the same sentence as eggs - hilarious!
Would you could you with a mouse?
Would you could you in a house?
YES! YES! YES!
We would eat them here are there.
We would eat them anywhere.

2nd - Birthday Cake!
Thanks to the lovely ladies of the lunchroom,
the entire school gets to have cake.
SMILE if you LOVE Cake!

3rd - Wear p.j's to school, make hats and. . .

have a READ-A-THON!!!!
Would you read in a tree?
Would you read next to me?
YES! YES! YES!
We would read here or there.
We WILL read anywhere!

BEST DAY EVER!

We Love America!

During the month of February we learned a lot about
Presidents. We were very proud of the
Abraham Lincoln portraits we drew.
We are budding artists! Wouldn't you agree?

We had a "Yankee Doodle Parade"!

Our Yankee Doodle hats remind us of the flag.

Our flag is our country's symbol
Of ideals that are meant to last -
It's a promise for our future
A reminder of our past.

We are the future!

Weddings Make Us Happy!

What? Did you say a wedding?
A Kindergarten Wedding?

Mr. Q and Miss U
QUITE the couple!
Love is in the air during the month of February, and
Mr. Q proposed to Miss U.
They will be together in words in great books for
all children to read forever!

We like weddings!
We get to dress up, eat cake, and DANCE!

Say, "Quickly - Quarter - Quiet"
Better than saying "cheese" for these wedding pictures.

A Special Occasion at School!

Wedding pictures
Am I seeing Double?
It was amazing to see all of the students
dressed up and looking so fancy!
Thank You to all the parents for
supporting such a fun day for all of us!

Happiness is. . .
Dancing with friends, no matter if they are big or small.
Friends at school are best of ALL!

Mrs. Topham is a mover and a groover!
Who's next to dance in the middle?

A hug goes a long way for Mrs. Fail.
Dearly Beloved,
We are gathered together this day, in front of teachers,
parents and students.
To celebrate the union of Mr. Q to Miss U.
(just a bit of the wedding jitters)

More Wedding Pictures!

Mr. Q and Miss U
Do you promise to stand by each other
when spelling words such as QUarter and QUilt?
Students help Mr. Q and Miss U
during the wedding.
Mr. Q do you promise to never leave Miss U
out of any words that you spell?

IT'S CAKE TIME!

Then by the power given to me by our principal,
I pronounce you husband and wife, friends for life.
You shall remain joined together in words for your
alphabetical life.

dANCE pARTY tIME!
